Wow! All I can say is wow! I never knew that you could do that with power point. I am so excited to be able to use it. There are so many more possibilities with this hypermedia tool.
Looking at the beginning of the class I felt overwhelmed and dismayed by all the new tech out there. I felt so out of touch. The school I worked in was a small Christian school and we just didn't have the funds for ANY technology. When I went to school, apparently in the dark ages, I took a class on using Polaroid Instant cameras in the classroom to document the activities of the classroom. Seriously that was the kind of tech we had going on back in the 90's. Wow! have we come a long way.
As we are over half way done with the class I am feeling quite excited about all the possibilities that are available. I am also excited about sharing all this great information with the home school families I know. I am excited about the possibilities for their families. I think several of these projects lend themselves to allowing the older children become interactive, with the aide of technology, in their own learning.

Jen I thought it was really cool too... I like that you can incorporate web pages and all sorts of sounds and pictures. I will definitely be using this in the future... Good Luck on this semester!!!We are coming down the home stretch... we can do it!!!!
